The NFL officially kicked off this Sunday but instead Kyle Sandy was in Grovetown to check out some of the CSRA's top players at Will Avery's Fall 48 Invite camp. Each team had a handful of players evaluated with UCLA (3:05-8:40), Georiga (8:44-13:47), Georgetown (13:50-19:11), Duke (19:13-23:14), Oregon (23:16-26:10) & Kentucky (26:11-31:54) all discussed.

At 5:41 PM today, Wheeler principal Peter Giles announced on Twitter that the Wildcats had hired 2x state championship winning head coach Larry Thompson away from Greenforest to fill the void left behind by 6x state champion and 25-year leader of Wheeler, Doug Lipscomb. Kyle Sandy discusses what the move means for Wheeler and Greenforest as one school pegs the GHSA's most successful coach over the past two seasons while the other looks for direction in a crossroads for the program.

2017 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year D'Marcus Simonds joins Spielin' & Dealin' to review his first season on campus at Georgia State. Simonds was a GHSA standout while at Buford and Gainesville. He graduated from Gainesville in 2016 and originally committed to play at Mississippi State as a 4-star recruit before reopening his recruitment.
